Matryoshka dolls are a traditional representation of the mother carrying on the family legacy through the child in her womb. Matryoshka dolls are also used to illustrate the unity of body, mind, heart and soul. Nylund’s ability to interpret elegant and timeless forms in his work has led us to bring these bowls together in this way.
