Vincent Nilsson

Vincent Nilsson (full name Lars Vincent Nilsson), is a ceramist born in 1957 and come from a long family tradition in ceramic. He is the son of Henning Nilsson and the brother of Harry Klaj Oxenblå, both acomplished ceramic artists. During his youth, Vincent spent a long time in his father’s pottery workshop in Höganäs, where he also received his basic education. He stays there until 1998 when he chooses to move to Krapperupsvägen in the nothern region of Höganäs. There he takes over both the home and the ceramic workshop of the renown Sune G. Svensson (1909 - 2005). 

In 2003, Vincent decides to put his ceramic work on hold in order to focus on other personnal projects. The break lasted for six years. Vincent has participated in several exhibitions, including at the Academy of Fine Art in Wellington, New Zealand. His objects are mostly signed “Vincent” or “Lars Nilsson”.
