Höganäs Keramik AB

No other Swedish town is as closely associated with ceramics as Höganäs. Kilns have been fired there for nearly two hundred years. Höganäs Keramik was founded in 1797 with a production mainly dedicated to the manufacture of bricks. It is only from 1832 that the production of utilitarian and decorative objects began

Production at the pottery factory continued until 1926 and consisted of utility and household goods, decorative items, toys and tiles. The famous salt glazed stonewares for which Höganäs is best known were produced until 1954.
