Steninge Lervarufabrik

Steninge Lervarufabrik was founded in 1932 by Steninge Castle’s owner Wolfgang Thomas and managed by him until 1937. The same year the factory was taken over by Karl Birger Femling, who continued manufacturing until 1940 under the name Sigtuna Ceramics.

In 1974, the company changes its name to Steninge Keramik AB and the year after, Uppsala Ekeby buys the factory. In 1980, all production is moved to Uppsala and thus the company ceases to exist.
