Ystad–Metall (Ystads Metallindustri) was founded in 1919 in Ystad in the south of Sweden. The company was active until 1969 but was very successful with its stylistically pure objects made of tin, brass, iron, bronze, and silver. Well-known Artists and Designers such as Ivar Ålenius-Björk, Carl-Einar Borgström, Karl Edvin “Wiwen” Nilsson and Gunnar Ander worked for the company.
