While looking for a vase or an object, you can sometimes ask yourself a series of very pertinent questions: When was it made? Where was it made? How was it made? But these questions should never take over from another fundamental one: What colour do I need?
Some of you might be surprised, but when we combine our pieces, we often find a perfect harmony between pieces of radically different origins and eras. Wherever they come from, whatever their age, shape, characteristics and scars; there are ultimately a multitude of links that unite seemingly different objects. Colour is certainly an indisputable binder when you create a composition made up of seemingly different-looking items.
Don’t be afraid to trust colours, they can influence and sometimes even guide our feelings. Blue, blue, pale blue and yellow? Red and beige? Or Green and pink? Create new emotions for yourself and others, start to mix!
