We have moved a lot. On our many travels we carry some of our objects with us, finding new ones too, to recreate a sense of home. Every time, we start from scratch: we have to feel the city, look for the right surroundings, and then find the space we will live in and work with.
This time we found a space like a raw canvas. We had to be immersed there for a while to understand how to approach it, watching how the light filled the room and how we would move through it, before building a kind of structure within the structure.
Now, a few months later, we can finally start to look at our objects from this new perspective, play with them, move them around and see how they find their new balance here.
To hold on to the space as it is today, we invited the photographer Jonas Marguet to capture it. Tomorrow, it may already look different.
